Amaray
Amaray first engaged Glenelg over 30 years ago. The successful partnership produced numerous market leading solutions and generated valuable IP.
We developed the original DVD case and button mechanism, successfully patented worldwide. It became the foundation stone for a complete range of products in CD and DVD packaging. Nintendo, X Box and Playstation game discs were all supplied in packaging designed by Glenelg.

Britvic
Glenelg were involved in the successful development and launch of the iconic Robinsons Squash’d fruit concentrate pack. We provided a range of inital concepts and engineered out the final visual proposal to transform an aesthetic design into a consumer product fit for purpose.
Glenelg also completed a full validation program to test all aspects of product functionality. This included designing and constructing a number of bespoke test rigs, satisfying every client requirement with accurate data.
Burton Kitchenware
Glenelg developed the Burton Sous Vide Cooker from initial concept through to prototyping, and managed all aspects of bringing the product to market. We sourced and oversaw manufacturing of component parts in China, whilst liaising with local companies to provide electronics, packaging, accreditation and marketing tools to realise the Burton brand.

Patlock
Glenelg were approached to provide a design solution to counteract the threat of ‘lock snapping’ in french doors and conservatories. The result, Patlock, is recommended by police forces and crime prevention organisations UK wide. It is a simple and elegant design that provides a strong visual deterrent.
By utilising our contacts in China we facilitated initial manufacturing and following scale-up; the product’s popularity (driven by recognition on national TV shows including Dragons Den) led to increased customer demand.

Raytec
Glenelg developed Vario 2, an award-winning LED illuminator that improves the performance of any CCTV system under darkness. The product forms the core of Raytec’s security lighting range, offering class leading performance and durability.
Scientific Games
SG Gaming identified a unique opportunity to build an adaptable terminal, providing customers with an offering that can be modified to meet the specific needs of different venues. The resulting design, Equinox™, provides a modular solution and includes innovative features such as a V-Deck with Privacy Mode. Following the successful launch Glenelg also designed the Equinox™ Multi-Player Special, a ‘community gaming showstopper’.

Weldtite
Weldtite identified a cycle workstation as a means of gaining exposure for and diversifying their Cyclotools brand. Glenelg were tasked with developing the product, with a focus on identifying and resolving weaknesses found in existing offerings. It was imperative to make the product stand out in a crowded market by adding value.
The key USPs of the final design are its modularity and single handed clamping functionality. Glenelg developed a clamp head suitable for utilisation with a number of mounting options. This allowed Weldtite to target both home mechanics and professionals, without having to provide a complete range of bespoke products.
We sourced and oversaw the tooling and manufacture of the final design in the Far East. This involved combining a number of metal manufacturing processes including precision die casting, extrusion and MIM (metal injection molding).
Glenelg also facilitated the packaging for the complete product range through a trusted local partner, providing an eye-catching offering at the point of sale.
“A clever, modular, bike stand and storage system that’ll hold your bike securely whether you only have a spare wall, a bench or all the space in the world!” Chipps @ Singletrack
